Seoul has hundreds of skin clinics, and from abroad they can look alike. Before you book, check five things: which doctor will consult and treat you, whether the products and devices are genuine, how you will communicate, how the treatment fits your travel dates, and the practical details of getting there.
Find out who will actually see you
At many busy clinics the consultation is done by a coordinator and the procedure by whichever doctor is free. That is not necessarily wrong, but you should know in advance. Ask who assesses your skin, who decides the plan, and who holds the needle or the handpiece.
At MILI Clinic Dosan the director takes you from the first consultation through to the procedure itself, so the person who listened to your concerns is the person who treats them.

Check that products and devices are genuine
Price differences between clinics often come from somewhere. With injectables, ask whether you can see the box and the serial number. With devices such as Ulthera or Thermage, ask whether the clinic is officially certified and whether the tips or cartridges are new and genuine.
We are an officially certified clinic for Ulthera, Thermage FLX, Tuneface, Juvelook and Sculptra, and Juvelook vials can be traced by serial number. You are welcome to ask to see any product before it is used.
Decide how you will communicate
A good outcome depends on the doctor understanding exactly what bothers you. Many clinics let you send photos and questions before you travel, which saves a lot of time on the day.
You can reach us on WhatsApp or LINE in English, or on WeChat and KakaoTalk. Sending a few clear photos in daylight, along with your travel dates, is the most useful way to start.
Plan treatment around your trip, not the other way round
Some treatments leave no visible trace. Others need a few days for redness or swelling to settle, and some are designed as a course of several sessions weeks apart. A little planning helps:
- Book treatments with any downtime early in your stay rather than the day before your flight.
- Leave room for a short check if something feels unusual afterwards.
- Tell us about medication, allergies and recent procedures done elsewhere.
- If a treatment is a course, ask what a single session can realistically achieve.

Is the clinic open in the evening?
On Tuesdays and Thursdays we are open until 21:00, which suits visitors who spend the day elsewhere in the city.
